However, that isn't the most interesting thing... It had been pouring all week with rain. And when I checked the front garden for the first time in a while, I saw that my abandoned terrarium had been filled almost to the top with water! Plants had grown in the soil and I even saw some clumps of algae. Nothing much has happened in there yet, but I hope something does!

A few months ago, I was planning on creating a terrarium using an old fish tank that I found in the shed. At that time, I decided to give myself a little headstart by pouring in some dirt that I found in an abandoned plant pot in our front garden. I had forgotten about it for months and for a long time, it had been simply nothing but a tank with dirt, rocks and sticks.
